Today marks your first deep dive into Egypt’s ancient wonders. Begin with a visit to the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the iconic Great Pyramid of Khufu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Towering above the desert landscape, this awe-inspiring structure showcases the brilliance of ancient engineering. You’ll also see the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, along with the mysterious Great Sphinx, guardian of the plateau.
For those interested, there is an opportunity to enter one of the pyramids (tickets subject to availability). After exploring Giza, continue into central Cairo to visit the renowned Egyptian Museum, which houses an unparalleled collection of ancient artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.
In the evening, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel overlooking the Nile.
